Update channels

A security tool’s update channel can become its most dangerous surface.
If a scanner loads detection rules it cannot verify, whoever controls that channel can quietly change what the product trusts, detects or blocks.
Nick 5.1 now signs and verifies protection updates before loading them.
Detection logic deserves the same trust boundary as application code.
