24 hours - Concept to 25 Site Submissions

What workedNov 5, 2026

What

Spent time thinking about something fun. Wanted to play on the launcher site thing, but my biggest freaking gripe was that the sites only benefited that were charging. The users who made the site, the user who visited the site, got NOTHING.

Then landsite.ai was born.

Key differentiator was money that comes in goes BACK to the people who supported,

How

To make this work it required an existing network..... the bros. But that was just to seed it, to tweet it, to make It happen. But realistically for it to work it required actual public interest. People outside of the network. They eventually showed up.

Let me explain. I could have closed every single land slot on my own. I could have submitted every single entry for me. It would be free and I could have called victory in minutes. But I didn't..

When

24 hour period, from concept to build out to adoption.

Why

Let's all be honest. We can build stuff, but we can't market it. That's the name of the game in the AI era right? You build this grand thing, and no one shows up, and you are banging your head on how to get people to show up and use it like the masterplan. But that is not how it works.

That's why LandSite was built. A way to draw attention to sites/apps/products, while gamifying some core things that make discovery possible.

  • previous owners get tossed away into a listing of obvlviiiiion (no stake)

  • unrelated people that support get nothing (not stake)

  • site owner profits

  • then a year+ of activities focused on churning the new site owners

How

Ok, but how to fix.

A few things:

  • previous owners get paid (tired of seeing platforms where the investor waits around and prays for traffic, so instead, money)

  • unrelated people that support usually get nothing for doing it - now give them a cut for boosting, sharing, etc

  • create a stream of average users who will come to play for rewards (ccccccash)

Next

  • to make it all work and be interesting, add history

  • add games to make it fun and desirable for a regular user to come and visit, they can even get paid if they want

  • great quest design and implementation

  • everyone who plays gets a chance at reward

So what does this mean?

  • Any land owner that has a plot can be bought

  • when bought, original landowner is paid back

  • provides allow for split between previous land owner, boosters, backers, etc.

  • ultimately, future buys pay out past buys; not guaranteed, but likely

Buy a spot and eventually get your money back.

It works because most of the launcher sites eat the profit. Instead, LandSite shares the profit.

Be back soon.

Not closing every slot yourself is the detail that makes the 25 submissions believable — it would have been free and instant, and you still didn't. Paying previous owners back is the part I'd want to see working in practice.

The best line here is the one about not closing every slot yourself. Filling it with your own entries would have looked like a win in minute ten and told you nothing. 25 submissions in 24 hours, with people outside the network showing up, is the real signal.

The part about paying previous owners back and sharing a cut with people who boost a plot is a clear break from the usual launch-site model. You mention history and games to bring ordinary visitors in. Which of those have you seen people actually come back for since the first 25 submissions?
