I did a project over the weekend just for fun: reverse engineer an old need for speed game for playstation 2 that I already had on my PC in an emulator. I wanted to see if I could turn the previously single player game into a massively-multiplayer social experience. To my surprise, Claude basically one-shot it.
Now came the hard part: Getting players.
"Claude is pretty smart..." I thought.
"Screw it" - I threw a prompt into Claude. "Create an engaging video for instagram that showcases the features of the game, especially the social ones."
I submitted the prompt then went to bed.
The next morning I was shocked. I couldn't believe the video it had produced by itself.
It spun up a ton of agents to play different characters in the game, staged multiple video shots, drove several cars at once. It was magical.
I tend to get overwhelmed and burnt out easily when it comes to marketing the things I create as a perfectionist. (I've owned a successful marketing company for the last 10 years)
I usually overthink posting, so I just threw it up on Instagram.
The next day, I logged in to over 50 players online.
In total over 2000 players have created accounts and played.
If you are ever struggling on how to get your product in front of people, push some of the work to agents.
You will be surprised at what they can accomplish.
